So, during the gallery hop this weekend, Anne & I bumped into Paul Robinett of YouTube fame (he runs a candle company headquartered in the Short North) and started talking to him. Before we knew it he had whipped out his macbook and started recording us for a video he was going to upload about his adventures that night. Here’s a link to it and the video is also embedded below for your viewing pleasure. We’re in it starting at the 1:30 mark. Enjoy!
So i get a junk email today from the campaign for Michael Brown for Mayor. Normally this wouldn’t be anything to roll my eyes too hard about, but what gets me is that this dude is running for mayor in Washington DC. What the hell should I care about the mayor of DC when I live in COLUMBUS? Why is this guy buying email address lists from spam companies just to throw his campaign spam all over the country (or world)? How many of the email address he’s sending to are to registered voters in DC who actually care about who their mayor is? I’m guessing I’m not the only one in another town who really doesn’t care about how he’d govern some other city….
Ok, so by now you’ve already seen the “Lazy Sunday” music video where Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell rap about going to see the Chronicles of Narnia, and you’ve also hopefully watched a lot of other good stuff at The Lonely Island. So now… I present to you… the ANDY VS MATT challenge…
One of these pictures is of Matt Burkhart… one of them is of Andy Samberg. WHICH IS WHICH? Ok, yeah, not that hard to tell since one is obviously a video screencap, but the resemblance is a bit crazy if you ask me. Good stuff.
So yeah, just wanted to share with the world and embarrass Matt a little with goofy pictures.
Got a music video here to share with the world… Gil Mantera and The Ultimate Donny star in their first video from their new album Bloodsongs. The track is called “Elmo’s Wish”, which is one of Anne’s favorites off the album. I enjoy it for being one of their more downtempo type of songs, but I’d next like to see a video either for Shadow Grip, Alligator Missions, or Emotion Road. But that’s just me, and Elmo’s Wish will do for now. Check it out! Tell your friends!
A few weeks ago, on a trip to Cincinnati, Jason McMaster turned me on to some new music by a rapper known as Rappy McRapperson. Warning… this stuff isn’t for everyone (including Anne) but if you’re up for a laugh check out www.rappymcrapperson.com and download the videos for “Grocery Store” and “Fanny Pack”.
Wow. Have i been under a rock or something? Maybe i just don’t listen to as much Eurodance as I used to, but Gunther is totally rocking my world right now. Go watch some of his videos… NOW!
