My name is Walker Evans, and I’m a graphic and web designer living with my fiance in the German Village area of downtown Columbus, Ohio. By day I’m a mild-mannered designer for a local newspaper and by night I’m a designer for ColumbusUnderground.com. That little picture to the right is of me and my fiance Anne on vacation last year in Orange Beach, AL at one of hundreds of mini-golf places up and down the coast.
In my other spare time I enjoy music, movies, cooking, hanging out with friends, playing video games, and all sort of other normal boring things that everyone else is into as well (sleeping, eating, breathing, etc). I’ve also been known to do a little DJing here and there, but not as much as I used to. I primarily play downtempo lounge house music (funky/tech/minimal).
More info coming soon. Whenever I get the time to write some more…

Just wanted to say hi, I found your blog through Columbus Underground. Good to see another blogger in German Village, and esp. a fellow web designer.

I am a writer for ThisWeek Newspapers and I would be very interested in doing a story on the “Urban Drive-In,” which Mayor Coleman mentioned 9-18 at the Young Professionals Initiative, but which no one else seems to have picked up on. E-mail me or call (740) 888-6094. If there’s a movie 10-1 I could send a photographer and write it for 10-8.

Walker,
I’d like to invite you to a benefit show at ACME Art Company on October 21st. Locals, Zachary Starkey, Pinebox, and TI-83 PLUS will perform in the gallery, while we raise hands, raffle prizes and support the community-built do-it-yourself vibe that keeps local arts organizations together.
Event benefits Clamor Magazine, and ACME Art Company (still alive and kicking)

Thank you,
